diving into symbols
who drove Lilith to the arms
of unsleeping jealousy?
was it Adam, her first,
or was it I AM that I AM?
whosoever it was gave her also
a Black Moon to watch,
a truly metaphysical point
if ever there was one
this celestial Unicorn's Eye,
a dot between two crescents,
was by turns, dangerous,
bothersome, and dull
she wore it for a while
on a chain between her breasts
and followed its throbbing
to her own luminous center

Thanks, Agnes. Very few people even read poetry. I have been trying to limit their exposure to one little-bitty screenful.
